Unauthorized Access

    Thats what happens when I execute the client:

    If I have to guess, I'd say it's because your system clock was not properly set.

    The authorization between the IPL and it's server uses the current UTC time as a salt to generate the login keys.
    If the hours were different, it would result in a different key and reject your access.

    Hey there,

    I'm also having this exact problem and its not fixing itself after 1hr ?

    If I just leave it in the background will it find the connection? or do i need to keep closing and reopening ?

    my clock is set to GMT, UTC (0) with daylight savings on, tried without daylight savings and still didn't work, I am running the program as admin

    The previous issue has been resolved, however, I am currently working on the IPL Server, so access will be intermittent.

    You can still play with a normal install of UO, using portal.ultima-shards.com 2593

    Sorry for the inconvenience, it will be resolved shortly.

    Vorspire just patched the server to fix the out of memory errors people were having and some connectivity issues.

    Please make sure your system clock is properly synchronised to the right time as the handshake is dependent on it.

    Also, what O/S are you using?
    32/64-bit?

    In Germany we`ve got "summertime".
    Means from around March till end of October we set clock 1 hour forward.
    I dind`t think about and only checked the minutes.
    So with "correct" system clock
    [C0] Connect: Target: 104.255.68.191:4593...
    [C0] Connect: Success
    [C0] Connect: Authorized Access
    [C0] Version: Fetching ...

    My fault, sorry and thanks for effort.
